Support a Free Membership

This year, we offered a limited number of free garden memberships to neighbors who can’t financially afford a membership, but would greatly benefit from the fresh food, flowers and time in the garden thanks to funding from AdkAction. The demand exceeded the funds we were able to offer, and we need your help nourishing our neighbors who need it for 2026.

Our past recipients have been parents of young kids, grandparents, multi-generational families, and other neighbors who need help. We offer two sizes of memberships, regular and large, and folks who receive free memberships get to choose the size that best suits their household and veggie consumption. We offer these free memberships on a first come first serve basis, and folks just need to ask for them, no proof of income or need required.

If you are supporting a membership in honor of a loved one: Please email marygodnick@gmail.com with the contact info and how you’d like your recipient to be notified (email/mail). They will receive a lovely email or hand printed card describing the donation in their honor.

Because we are not a non-profit, this donation is not tax deductible. However, if you’ like to give a sizable donation to deduct from your taxes, please get in touch at marygodnick@gmail.com and we can make it work.
