Hi, I’m Mary

I am a grower, artist, advocate, and creator.

I moved to the Adirondacks in 2016 and have been on a journey of connecting to nature, people, and plants ever since. When I moved to the Adirondacks, the opportunity came up to grow things in a space of my own at DaCy Meadow Farm. Ever since my garden plot has expanded more and more, and I continue to learn more about the many different aspects of stewarding land and growing vegetables, fruit, herbs, flowers, and trees.

After finally getting the hint from friends and family that I was overwhelming them with my garden veggies, I opened up my garden to share the abundance with private tours and community you-pick nights in 2021.

About the Creative Kitchen Garden

In 2022, the Creative Kitchen Garden earned its name as a space where people could reconnect with nature through plants and food. My goal is to help people reconnect with plants and experience the joy of growing food. I do this by offering weekly community you-pick nights, private workshops, and garden tours on the farm.

I hope you will join me in the garden, and celebrate the great art of growing plants for food, medicine, and fun!
